Communion – brotherhood in truth

Whoever wishes to live in community must first learn to face the truth.

At Pontes Salutis, we believe that community is not possible without truth. And truth is not an idea, but a person – God. God is truth, and it is only from Him that a person learns how to be truthful – to oneself and to others. Whoever wishes to live in community must first learn to look truth in the eye.

This means looking into one’s own heart, recognising the good within it, but also having the courage to see one’s own weaknesses, mistakes and vulnerabilities. Only the one who is honest with themselves can truly accept another. For one who knows their own limits understands another’s more easily.

In this honesty, a friendship is born that seeks not perfection, but truth and trust. Community is not built on illusions, but on a willingness to bear one another, to forgive and to begin anew.

That is why Pontes Salutis wishes to be precisely this:
